Microsoft is set to revamp Outlook settings on mobile, with two new updates featured on the 365 Roadmap site. The primary objective is to enhance the user experience by simplifying the process of locating desired settings. The rollout is scheduled for January 2024 for Android users and February 2024 for iOS users.
Currently, the mobile Outlook settings page is cluttered and challenging to navigate, as settings are scattered across multiple sections. The forthcoming design will consolidate all settings into a single, more intuitive view, facilitating a smoother user experience.
Microsoft has been dedicated to enhancing the overall user experience in Outlook. Last summer, they introduced a new Outlook app for desktop, enriched with Copilot’s AI features and various performance enhancements.
An exciting development is the ‘Sound like Me’ feature, powered by AI. This feature allows users to request the assistant tool to compose an email on their behalf while emulating their writing style and preferences.
For those interested, Outlook is available for download on the App Store for iOS and the Play Store for Android.
