Chief Minister Sindh, Maqbool Baqar, emphasized the transformative impact of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the One Belt One Road initiative on human development in the country. Speaking at a ceremony organized by the Chinese Consul General in Karachi, the Chief Minister highlighted that the essence of the CPEC project lies in sharing developmental pathways with other nations.
He expressed that the robust relationship between the people of Pakistan and China, characterized by mutual respect, love, and brotherhood, has been further strengthened through the connectivity facilitated by CPEC. This connectivity, he noted, has significantly diminished the barriers of distance, fostering collaboration in travel, development, and cooperation between the two nations.
In addressing the visit of the Chinese Navy fleet to Karachi, the Chief Minister underscored its potential to enhance cooperation between the naval forces of Pakistan and China. He emphasized that such exchanges play a crucial role in promoting peace and security in the region, reflecting the shared commitment to stability and collaboration between the two countries.
